Happiness.

Oh Disney, how I love thee. Two years ago my parents took my sister and I to Disney World for the first time. Nevermind that we were grown adults with real jobs and such, we were going to Disney!!! My parents said they wanted to do one more family trip before we both got married and had kids {haa, sorry mom and dad, don't hold your breath!}. It was the best week ever, we were like kids in a candy store; stalking the Disney princesses and riding "It's a Small World" a million times. It was great for my sister and I to spend quality time with my parents since we don't get to see them very much, and it was fun to experience our childhood dreams come true! I think we actually appreciated it more as adults. What they say is true, it really is the happiest place on earth.

  1. What a great family memory to treasure. My parents did that for my sister and I eons ago and it was the one and only time I have ever gotten to see Hawaii.

  2. The first (and only) time I went was when I was 18 years old, and we were pretty much all grown as well. My parents gave the same reason: one last trip before we went off and got married:) We had a blast. I plan to take my kids next year!

  3. Brings back memories. I went in 2003 and still have the key chain as a reminder.

  4. Never been. I came close when I helped move our son to Orlando to go to school. We ate dinner at Bubba Gumps.Just driving around and walking around the outer shops was fun.

  5. Sadly to say, I have only been to DisneyLand. The 'red-headed step child' of the Disney franchises.

  6. A house that looked like this would be nice.

  7. Nothing wrong with going back to the old theme parks when you're grown up. Crazy how some of them have changed.
